With the outbreak of the coronavirus, family trips in the Netherlands were not possible for some time. Fortunately, the tide is slowly changing. The latest advice from the authorities is that we should avoid large groups as much as possible and many attractions are allowed to re-open again albeit in limited fashion. We researched the possibilities for you and listed them below.
Option 1 Duinrell
Starting from May 16, Duinrell will open a few of its attractions every day. On June 1, all of Duinrell will re-open. The Tiki bath will implement time locks. *Please note! From now on, you will longer have all-day access to the swimming paradise, but only two hours per visit.
Option 2 The Efteling
The Efteling has opened to the doors to its vacation park again and the organisation aims to re-open the theme park again on May 20. Only a third the usual number of visitors will be allowed to enter the legendary park at the same time.
Option 3 Walibi
On Monday May 25, Walibi Holland will also open its doors again. Wallibi will start using virtual waiting lines. You can reserve admittance for one via an app. All the restaurants and shops will have been redesigned so that all visitors and personnel can keep a distance of 1.5m.
Option 4 Zoos
Starting from May 25, you will be able to visit a number of zoos again. Diergaarde Blijdorp, Safari Park Beekse Bergen and WILDLANDS Adventure Zoo will all re-open on this date. Every zoo has taken its own measures to ensure safety.
