Our day rates are based on 24 hour periods (or portion), quoted in Euro’s and are subject to change without notice. Rate includes 21% local tax, unlimited mileage, Vehicle License fee, the insurance cover for the rented vehicle is a third party liability insurance, all insurance premiums (CDW, third party liability, personal accident and theft) for Western Europe with maximum deductable only € 50,00 for groups A/B and € 125,00 for all other groups, full maintenance, green card en our Breakdown Service for Western Europe. Except for your maximum deductable our insurance also covers windows, wheels, (flat)tires, mirrors. Car keys (lost/broken/theft) or filling up the rental car with the wrong fuel is not insured. Our rates with unlimited mileage are only for drivers with permanent residency status outside the Netherlands and Belgium.
Valet Service/Pick up & Drop off
A one time handling fee of € 40,00 will be charged for pick up/drop off at office Hoofddorp and/or Schiphol Airport Amsterdam. Regardless the length of the rental period. For pick up/drop off between 10:30 PM and 05:00 AM an extra premium of € 30,00 will be charged. Roundtrip valet service for Rotterdam or Eindhoven Airport is € 80,00 (one time fee).
All drivers must be at least 24 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license for at least one year.
Payment to be made in Euro’s. Full payment is required in advance or at vehicle pick up. Payment can be made by Master or Visacard at arrival. Any service charge for bank transfers or money exchange are the responsibility of the renter.
All necessary papers for driving in Western Europe are included. For driving in Spain or Italy an extra insurance premium of € 50,00 applies.With a BB&L rental car it’s aloud to drive from the Netherlands to Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Finland, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Austria, Spain (excluding Ceuta and Melilla), United Kingdom, Sweden or Switzerland. For driving in/through Swiss or Austria you need to buy a road tax sticker at the border of those countries. Per 2008 some German city centers are only accessible with a special environmental badge (Umweltplakette). You can buy mentioned sticker – the license plate number of your rental car must be copied on the sticker – at bigger gas stations in Germany. Some countries have special regulations in wintertime. For instance winter tires in Germany and Austria in wintry conditions. In general please inform yourself on forehand with local regulations when travelling outside The Netherlands.
Within a group all cars are guaranteed by car make/model except during holiday periods (summer and Christmas). Vehicle hitches and roof racks are not available. All BB&L vehicles are 4/5 door models except for the rental category A. All vehicles with power steering, airbags, ABS, airco and GPS for Holland and Belgium. We offer non-smokig cars only.
